Obituary of Ann KOTELO

ANN KOTELO (MOZEL) November 16, 1913 - July 10, 2008 Peacefully on July 10, 2008, at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home at the age of 94, Mom said good-bye to her family. Ann leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Eileen and Chris (Ron); son Jerry (Eleanor); grandchildren Nicki (John), Jeff (Erika), Kathy (Joe), Rana, Shannon and Kim, her great-grandchildren Sarah, Josh, Jessica and Brayden; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Frances Mozel and Bea Mozel. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1969; her brothers Paul, Nick, Steve, Mike and Joe; her sisters Mary, Kay, Helen and Jean; as well as her son-in-law Roy. Mom was born and raised in Hazelglen and on marrying Dad began farming at Anola. After Dad's passing, Mom moved to Winnipeg and began a new chapter in her life, close to her children. She worked at the Perogy House and Shuel's Catering. Her favourite pastimes were bingo and playing cards, watching The Young and The Restless, listening to the Ukrainian Hour; and babysitting her grandchildren. We will always cherish our memories of Mom and her unending love and support in all our endeavours. A special thanks to all the caring staff at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home for everything they have done for Mom over the past eight years. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Reverend Father Mike officiating.
