WALTER (WALLY) KOROL

On March 2, 2009, Wally, beloved husband of Blanche, passed away at the age of 84 years.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by son Rick (Jo Ann), three grandchildren Tina, Kevin and Riley and four great-grandchildren Brittney, Morgan, Tristan and Kayla. He also leaves to mourn, his sister-in-law Jerry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wally was predeceased by his brothers Henry, John, Mike, Peter, Steve, Joey and Larry and sisters Anne, Mary, Jean and Eleanor.

Wally ran the family business called Union Groceries from 1938 to 1972. He then worked at Kildonan East Regional School as a Para-Professional, retiring in 1988.

Wally was very active at St. Alphonsus Church as a member of the Knights of Columbus, Thursday night Bingo and church usher.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. and Brazier St. with Br. Jorge Villegas, O.F.M., Cap. officiating.
