PAUL KONIK October 24, 1920 - April 7, 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87.

Paul is survived by his daughters Lydia (Lee) Shirtliffe, Anna Konik and his son Ed Konik and his two grandsons Paul and Ryan Shirtliffe. He was predeceased by his wife, Nina in September 2005.

Dad took great pleasure in the simple things in life - going blueberry and mushroom picking, a glass of sherry, sitting in the sun, feeding the birds and rabbits and sharing candy and stories with his grandsons.

The family would like to thank Fred from Homecare and the staff of 3 North at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion.

A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
