Obituary of Joseph KONDRISHON

JOSEPH EDWARD KONDRISHON With sadness we announce the passing of Joe on October 13, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 74. Left to cherish his memory are wife Nettie; sister Joan (Frank); nephew Frank (Belinda, Daniel, Samantha); niece Dana (Mark, Amanda); 2 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in law; numerous nieces and nephews all out of province; cousins and friends. Joe began his journey through life on December 22, 1934 at his maternal grandparent's home in Beausejour, Manitoba. Although he grew up in Winnipeg, he spent many special times in the Beausejour area with his family and friends. A life-long resident of the North End, he worked for the City of Winnipeg for the greater part of his life. Joe married Nettie in 1969 and celebrated 40 years of marriage earlier this year. Joe lived his life of his own accord but always looked after his family and friends with a very generous heart. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests over the years which led to many unique friendships over his lifetime. His sister Joan and her family have countless memories of fun and happy times spent with "Uncle Eddie" and his special brand of humour will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Dalling and the Nursing Staff on 5th Floor, Unit 7 at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of one's choice.
