ROBERT KOMZAK

On October 20, 2010 Robert passed away in Winnipeg at the age of 89 years.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Julianna; son George (Joanne); grandchildren, Andrea, Robbie (Jennifer), Ilona (Grant), Leslie (Mandy), Danielle; great grandchildren Tanner, Brody, Jaeden, Riley, Xavier, Nathaniel, Kelly; also Klara, Ilona and Una.

He was predeceased by his son Robert Jr.

Robert Komzak was born Budapest, Hungary on June 22, 1921. He lived there with his wife, Julianna and his sons Robert Jr. and George. He was a master cabinet maker. Robert left Hungary in 1956 with his family to start a new life in Canada. The only living relative in Hungary is his sister-in-law Marika. He retired from his position as a Foreman of Government Services with the Province of Manitoba. Robert enjoyed camping and travelling with his wife and family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 365 Burnell Street.

We will miss him, we hope he rests peacefully. For what is eternal peace for him, is eternal sorrow for those he leaves behind.
