Obituary of Patricia Kochie

Patricia Ann Berens-Kochie (nee Armstrong) November 15, 1939 -- November 15, 2009 Suddenly and unexpectedly November 15th, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg Patricia passed away. Patricia was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Berens and her parents, Dorothy and John Armstrong. Patricia leaves behind her husband, William Kochie, her children, John (Shirley), Ron (Debbie), Susan, Michael (Lana), 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, Patricia's brothers, Ron (Madeline), Jack, Walter (Shirley); also numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia also leaves behind the extended Kochie family, children, grand children and great grandchildren; and many many special friends. Patricia resided in Faulkner, Manitoba, which has been her home for over 20 years. She met and married William Kochie in October 1996. The couple celebrated 13 wonderful years together. Patricia was known for her smile and ability to make everyone laugh. She was kind hearted and always willing to lend a hand. Pat is remembered most for her culinary skills, especially her home made soup. Soup was always on in Pat's kitchen. Pat cherished spending time with family and friends. She was loved by her many friends and family and will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Pat's life will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Church, 256 Smith Street, Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held at St. Helene's Anglican Church in Fairford, Manitoba to be announced at a later date.
