Obituary of Laszlo KERTESZ

LASZLO (LESLIE) KERTESZ July 3, 1932 - May 27, 2009 It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and Papa. Laszlo passed away at Concordia Hospital with his family and loved ones by his side. Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Ilona; daughters Leona (Bennie), and Elizabeth (Randy); grandchildren Quinlan, Nicholas, and Layla; brother Kalman (Maria) and niece Marian (Les); brother Miklos (Julianna) of Hungary and brother Dezso of Australia, as well as many other relatives in Hungary and Australia. He was predeceased by his parents, Margit and Erno; brother Gyula; and sister Maria all of Hungary. Laszlo was a strong man who always put family first. His greatest pride was his children and later his grandchildren. For him there was no place like home and he was always happiest sitting on the front porch playing his accordion. The family would like to thank the emergency doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital. Prayer Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua, 365 Burnell Street.
