Obituary of Feliks KAMINSKI

FELIKS KAMINSKI It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Feliks Kaminski at the age of 87, peacefully on the 16th of November, 2009 at St. Joseph's Residence. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Teresa (Branko) Carevic, and sons John (Mary) and Stan Kaminski. He also leaves to mourn his passing his son in law Erwin Gingera, sister in law Elizabeth Adamiak and grandchildren Corey Gingera, Tara (Mike) Gingera, Danny Carevic, Angela (Ryan) Gingera, Ryan Carevic as well as his Great grand-daughter Kayla Medwick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis, his daughter Donna Gingera, and his parents Stanislaw and Marianna Kaminski. Dad was born on November 12, 1922 in Karczew, Poland. He came to Canada after the Second World War where he met his wife, Phyllis. They were married on April 26, 1952 and spent many happy years together before her passing in 1998. Dad was a very kind and generous man with a great sense of humour and who enjoyed fishing, being out in the outdoors, gardening and was always a handyman around the house for as long as he was able. He was a long time member of the Holy Ghost Parish and Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society. We would like to give special Thanks to Dr. Babick and the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for their care and compassion during the time Dad spent with them. Prayers will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father officiating.
