Growing up on McIvor Ave, Mr. Jurkowski's son Len was my best friend. (Being a kid, I of course never called Mr. Jurkowski "Louis".) I knew Mr. Jurkowski to be a kind and generous community-spirited family man with a good common sense approach to life. Len and Freddie can be proud to have had him as a dad. My belated condolences to all.
