Eloi was born in Giroux, Manitoba to Flore and Emile Jolicoeur on November 9th, 1932. All through his life, he enjoyed most anything that related to nature, whether it was his love of harnessing the wind through the construction of the many ornaments he built, like windmills or working wind models of running horses or lumbermen sawing wood. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and barbeques. His greatest pleasure throughout his life was his family. Eloi was always there, whether you were a son or daughter, a grandchild or great-grandchild, attentive, loving, understanding, compassionate, encouraging, and yes, forgiving. His time was our time. He was predeceased by his parents, Emile and Flore {nee Degagn}, his brother Flix, and his sister Lorraine. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the family, friends, caregivers, and hospital personnel on the 6th floor at St. Boniface General Hospital and to Father Grard Dionne and Father Gerry Ward. Funeral Mass Saturday December 18th at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Parish 252 Dubuc Street with Rev. Fr. Martin Bradbury officiating. Rest in Peace Eloi, Papa, Pepre. Watch over us.
