DANIEL HRABLUK Peacefully, with his family at his side, Daniel passed away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, April 17, 2009. Daniel was predeceased by his mother Tekla, his father William, his brother Ernie and his sister Marie. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Anne (Bill), Helen (Frank), Mary (Ken), his brother Wally (Vicky), and his sister-in-law Jeanette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. Daniel was born June 17, 1939 in Winnipeg, MB. He began his teaching career in Pierson, MB. He spent two years overseas teaching with the Department of National Defense in Lahr, Germany. When he returned to Canada, he taught with the Winnipeg School Division. He ended his teaching career at Daniel McIntyre High School. He was a very dedicated teacher. Divine Liturgy celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor Street. Cremation will follow. The family wishes to thank Dr. M. W. Kepron, Dr. H. W. Unruh and nurse A. E. Szabo for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg R3A 1P6.
