Ollie (Olga) Hillman

(May 11, 1915 - January 28, 2010) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Ollie Hillman, at the Victoria General Hospital, Thursday, January 28th.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Finn in 1978, Ollie is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Eric Hillman (Barb) of Lethbridge AB, Barry Hillman (Bonita) of Winnipeg, and dear brother, Nick (Olive) Gory of Winnipeg; Ollie's beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren, Craig(Christine), Kimberley, B.C. , Kirsten(Duncan) Ottawa, Ont. and their children, Ewen and Jack; Ingrid(David) and Livia(Tim) of Winnipeg; nieces, nephews, cousins, the Danish family on Finn's side, and many dear life-long friends.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Golden Links Lodge staff and to Victoria General Hospital for their wonderful care.

A private ceremony was held with family, and cremation has taken place following Ollie's wishes. Family will be holding a memorial service in late spring at the Unitarian Church on Wellington Crescent to celebrate Ollie's life.
