MIREILLE HALIMI

May 16, 1932 - May 28, 2008

Peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, Mireille Halimi passed away at Lions Personal Care Home at the graceful age of 76 years.

Mireille will be greatly missed by her only surviving sibling Yvonne in France and many nephews and nieces here in Canada and France.

Mireille came to Canada in the late 70's for a vacation and decided to stay and help her sister raise 7 children. She was a second mother to her nephews and nieces. In her mid 60's she had a stroke and since then resided at Lions Manor.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
