ALEJANDRA GARCIA December 10, 1924 - November 16, 2009

Peacefully surrounded by her family, Alejandra passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84. Alejandra is survived by children Emelita (Resureccion) Bartocillo, Reynaldo (Pamela) Garcia, Leonida Garcia, Jose Villa (Gloria) Garcia, Merlina (Alex) Bombeo, Robert Garcia, Carlo (Zosima) Garcia; sisters Adelaida Espino and Coring Porbile; brother Wilfredo Porbile; in-laws; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are many friends here in Winnipeg and in the Philippines. She was predeceased by her husband Esteban; daughter Florida Flores and brother Edeng Porbile.

Special thanks to Susan Ross and respite care staff, the paramedics and the staff at A6 wing at St. Boniface Hospital.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington Street. Interment will take place in the Philippines.
