Obituary of Czeslaw FUDALI

CZESLAW (CHESTER) FUDALI With his family by his side, Chester passed away into the hands of the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his father and his infant son Lesli. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife Teresa of 45 years; his daughters Donna (Garth) Shead , Barb (Darrell) Bedard, his son Ted (Cheryl) Fudali ; grandchildren Nicole, Ryan, Breanna, Evan, Josh and Brooke. Also left behind his mother Eva (Andrew), his sister Sophie and many close family members and friends. Chester came to Arborg from Poland in 1960 at age eighteen, later moving to Winnipeg, where he met Teresa. They enjoyed many family trips across Canada and the United States. In retirement, he enjoyed trips with Mom to Mexico. He also cherished his trips to the cabin at Manitoba Narrows as often as he could. Dad took great pride in keeping a pristine yard. Friends could always find him puttering in his yard and garage, but he always made time for visiting with everyone. Rosary will be said on Monday, May 4 starting at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stan Zysk, Kaz Zysk, Ryan Shead, Andrew Luczak, Garth Shead and Darrell Bedard. The family would like to extend a thank-you to Dr. Demsas, Dr. Lindenschmidt, Selkirk Hospital for the care provided, and the girls from homecare that gave Dad and Mom the support to keep Dad at home. We would also like to thank our co-workers for their love and support during our Dad's illness. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us You knew how much we cared.
