Clay Fisher

Obituary of Clay Fisher

LAYTON CLAY FISHER June 10, 1964 - October 3, 2008 It is with great sadness that the Fisher family announces the sudden passing of their beloved son, brother, uncle, husband and father. Clay leaves behind his much-loved wife Margaret of 21 years and their pride and joy Joshua (their Laddie). Clay, being the youngest of his family, leaves to mourn his mother Elizabeth "Betty", his uncle Jack and his 9 brothers and sisters Lorne (Susan), Milo (Late Cindy), Miles, Fortune (Garry), Candace (Zoltan), Robin (Bob), Rory (Kim), Holly and Monica, along with 15 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. Clay will also be missed by his mother-in-law Edna Halas, brother-on-law Bob McNamara (Dorothy), sister-in-law Karen Eldridge, niece Stephanie Eldridge (Charlie) as well as Joshua's special friend Chanell. Among those mourning are Clay's childhood friends Brad, Darren and Ricky along with Wayne, Joe and Jeff. Clay being a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-most will be fondly remembered for his many finished projects, attention to detail, contagious laugh, lame jokes, childhood pranks that still bring a smile to our faces, but most of all being there to lend a hand to his family and friends. Clay you are and will always be deeply missed by all. "Clay, we can see your long curls blowing with heaven's wind as you ride your Harley." A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
