Obituary of Ross FERGUSON

ROSS FERGUSON It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ross on February 8, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre with his family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his wife Faith (Faye) and step-son Terry McKellar. He will also be missed by other family members including in-laws, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends. Ross was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Mary Ferguson, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Ross worked as a shipper/receiver for the majority of his working career - 12 years at Merchants Consolidated and 12 years at Finn Woodworks. Ross was an avid curler for several years, playing at the Deer Lodge Curling Club, where his team won the Grand Aggregate. He also enjoyed playing in the Celebrity Bonspiel for the Arthritis Society. Ross's favourite pastime was music, trivia, a good game of cards and his latest passion was a fun game of golf. Ross made many friends along the way. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. The family would like to thank Dr. Edward St. Goddard and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre for their love and care they gave to Ross and his family. It was greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ross's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
