MARIA EVELINA ELEUTERIO

1933 - 2009

The family of Maria Evelina Eleuterio sadly announces her peaceful passing of Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre with family by her side. She left us to be with the Lord.

Maria leaves to cherish her daughter Grace and her children Danny and Shannon Krawchuk and their daughter Bryn; Nancy and Clint Webb and their daughter Samantha; Kelly and Eugene Drobot and their daughters Jocelyn, Georgia and Kyra; her son George Eleuterio and wife Margaret and their children Dennis, Jason and Erin and their daughter Jane as well as numerous nieces and nephews and family in Canada, Portugal and United States. She also leaves behind her sister Sophia and husband Humberto in Massachusetts, USA.

She was predeceased by her husband whom she missed so much, Laurenio Eleuterio; mother Angelina; father Manuele; sister Maria brothers Edwardo, Manuel and Mariano in Portugal.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence, ICU at Health Sciences Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.

Prayers will be said on Tuesday, January 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
