ANNA DZIURBAN DEC 4, 1922 - NOV 9, 2008 Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Residence Anna Dziurban passed away on November 9, 2008. Anna leaves to mourn, her brother Piotr (Anna) Waczur, sister Mila Burak and niece Anna Burak of Brooklyn, NY., as well as cousins Eva (Michael) Zajac, Anne Futros, John (Gwen) Huzyk, Robert (Kathryn) Huzyk and family in Canada and Poland. Anna was born on Dec. 4, 1922 in the town of Regietow, Western Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Dziurban in 1977. Anna was a member of St. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church in her early years in Canada and later a member at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Anna came to Canada in the early 50's and worked at Ready Foods until her retirement. Anna was a very hard working and cheerful person and very generous and giving to all who knew her. She lived life to the fullest. Her family, friends, home and garden meant everything to her. She will be especially missed by her niece Sonia Szelemej and her family who have been a great support to her. Prayers will be sung on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 8:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral at 1:00 p.m. with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Terry Babick, nurses and staff and St. Joseph's Residence for their patience, support and care.
