Obituary of Sister Dumesnil
S. Marie-Paule Dumesnil (S. Marie Sainte-Lucienne)
Tr�s paisiblement, le 1er novembre 2009, � l'h�pital de Saint-Boniface, S. Marie-Paule Dumesnil est all�e � la rencontre du Seigneur � l'�ge de 86 ans. Elle �tait membre de la congr�gation des Missionnaires Oblates de Saint-Boniface depuis 65 ans.
Marie-Paule est n�e � Sainte-Agathe (MB) le 26 juin 1923. Son p�re, Louis-Edouard Dumesnil et sa m�re Lucienne P�loquin �taient originaires de Sainte-Agathe.
Outre sa famille religieuse, Soeur Marie-Paule Dumesnil laisse dans le deuil ses soeurs, Rita St-Hilaire (Georges) et L�onne, s.n.j.m.; ses fr�res, Denis, Adrien et Richard (Lorraine Lemoine), une belle-soeur Marguerite Dumesnil et un beau-fr�re G�rard (Vi). Lui survivent plusieurs neveux et ni�ces qui se souviendront affectueusement de tante "Paulo". Elle est pr�c�d�e dans la mort par ses parents, ses soeurs Aline Bilodeau et Anne-Marie (feu Aim� Robert).
Selon le d�sir de Marie-Paule, l'incin�ration a eu lieu. Les pri�res auront lieu le vendredi 6 novembre 2009 � 13 h 30 � la Cath�drale de Saint-Boniface 190, rue de la Cath�drale, Winnipeg (MB) R2H 0H7. Les fun�railles seront c�l�br�es le m�me jour � la Cath�drale � 14 h. Le P�re Albert Bouffard, omi, pr�sidera la c�l�bration. L'inhumation des cendres aura lieu imm�diatement apr�s les fun�railles au Cimeti�re Saint-Boniface, rue Archibald. La direction des fun�railles est confi�e au salon Mortuaire Cropo.

Sister Marie-Paule Dumesnil
Sister Marie-Paule Dumesnil (Sr Marie Sainte-Lucienne) passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on November 1st, 2009 at the age of 86. She was a member of the religious congregation of the Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface for 65 years.
Marie-Paule was born in St. Agathe (MB) on June 26, 1923. Her father, Louis-Edouard Dumesnil, and her mother, Lucienne P�loquin were both from St. Agathe. Along with the members of her religious congregation, she leaves to mourn her passing, her sisters Rita St. Hilaire (Georges) and L�onne, s.n.j.m.; her brothers, Denis, Adrien and Richard (Lorraine Lemoine); a sister-in-law Marguerite Dumesnil and a brother-in-law, G�rard Bilodeau (Vi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their "Aunt Paulo". She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Aline Bilodeau, and Anne-Marie (the late Aim� Robert).
In accordance with Marie-Paule's wish, cremation has taken place. Prayers are on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 rue de la Cath�drale, Winnipeg (MB) R2H 0H7. Funeral service will be held on the same day at St. Boniface Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. Father Albert Bouffard, o.m.i., will preside the celebration. Interment of the ashes following the funeral service at St. Boniface Cemetery on Archibald Street.
