Obituary of Stanley DUMA
STANLEY WALTER DUMA
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Walter Duma on August 16, 2009 at the age of 75.
Stanley will be sadly missed and forever cherished by his loving wife of 51 years, Victoria Duma, children Joan (Lou), Dennis, Karen (Bernie), Darald, Christine Wojcik (John), grandchildren Kyle and Corey, brother Ron Materuk (Joan), many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stanley was employed at Central Grain for over 40 years. Due to a debilitating stroke he had to retire early. He took pride in all he did and could fix anything. Dad had a great sense of humour. There was always laughter, jokes and pranks being played in our home He loved to fish, play cards, watch wrestling and westerns. Dad loved spending his summers in Riverton. His gardens were immaculate and his labour of love produced vegetables for all and stunning flower gardens.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents Stella and Walter and brother Tony.
Thanks to the Maples Personal Care Home for taking good care of such a good man.
Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
