ALBERTO INACIO DA COSTA

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Alberto Inacio Da Costa, at the age of 88, on August 7, 2009 at the Health Science Centre with his family and friends by his side.

Alberto was born on May 17th, 1921 in Sao Miguel Acores and immigrated to Canada in 1983.

He was predeceased by his wife, Maria De Lourdes (1989).

Alberto will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Izaltina in Mississauga ON, his daughters, Armanda (Luis) in Winnipeg MB, Maria Da Conceicao (David) in Brampton ON, Maria De Lourdes (Evaristo), in Sao Miguel Acores, Fatima in Winnipeg MB and his sons Alberto (Venilde) and Joao Pedro (Natalia) in Winnipeg, MB. As well as his 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren that will also treasure his memory.

Alberto has touched many hearts and will always be remembered for his hard work ethics and kindness. He will be sadly missed, always loved and forever remembered. The family would like to send a special thank-you to the staff on the fourth floor at the Health Science Centre for their care and support.

Prayers will be said on Tuesday, August 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Very Rev. Jos� Eduardo Medeiros, V. F. as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
