HELENA JEAN CHEPIL
Peacefully on September 3, 2008 Helena, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 57.
Helena is survived by her loving husband Mack; daughter Brandy Charbonneau of Winnipeg; son Jason (Dana) Charbonneau of Regina; 4 grandchildren Tevin Watson, Kobe, Dylan and Damon Charbonneau; mother Hildagard Sojka; sister Wanda Scammell; brothers Frank and Henry Sojka; niece Tracey (Doug) Creighton and their children Ashley and Dani; great niece Phyllissa and great nephew Clarence.
She was predeceased by her father Frank Sojka and niece Delaney Scammell.
Helena enjoyed many wonderful passions such as the culinary arts as well as dancing and travelling, a collector and composer of fine art throughout her travels. She embraced and embodied to others pure elegance and grace.
The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba, Palliative Care and all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster, Winnipeg, MB with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
