ADOLF BUSS
Peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2009, Adolf Buss passed away at the age of 102.
He was predeceased by his wife Linda Margaret (1983) and son Arthur Lawrence (1999).
He leaves to mourn son Raymond (the late Vicki) and daughter Carole (Phillip); grandchildren Linda, Andrea and Robert; great grandchildren Phillip, Caroline, Mitchell and Victoria.
Adolf was born May 3,1907 in Russia and came to Canada in 1923. After working and living in Morris, Winnipeg and Vancouver, he settled in Winnipeg in 1925. He enjoyed his craft as a tailor and was ultimately promoted to shop foreman. Adolf retired from his 35-year career with the Hudson Bay Company in 1969. He enjoyed spending time at his hobby farm in Dugald and cottages at Brereton Lake and Balsam Bay.
Friends, neighbours and family are invited to attend the viewing at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster Thursday, December 10th from 7 pm to 8 pm. A graveside ceremony will take place at Brookside Cemetery Friday December 11th at 2 pm.
Flowers gratefully declined. If so moved, a donation may be made in Adolf's memory to a charity of one's choice.
