Obituary of Ronald Brinkworth
Ronald George Brinkworth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald George Brinkworth at the age of 72, on July 2, 2009.
Ronald leaves to mourn his loving wife of 46 years Angelique, his two sons Montgomery (Kelly), Martin (Tammy), and his daughter Lisa, grandchildren, Lyle, Adam, Brendon, Eric, Mikalya, Lavender, and Wyatt, brother Percy (Bunny) of Bobcaygeon, ON, sister Melba Brinkworth of Langley,BC many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents George and Sarah Edith Brinkworth, one daughter Sherry Lynn, two sons Michael George, and Miles Darcy, and his one grand daughter Chelsea Brinkworth.
Ronald was known for being the man who could fix anything, and was one amazing cook. He spent his summers fishing, gardening, woodworking and many activities with his children and grandchildren. He loved country music, loved to cook, and every fall he spent days preparing all the canning for the family and many of his friends. The family would like send a special thanks to Katherine Graham, manager of 3West Concordia Hospital, to all the Nurses and staff. And a special thanks to all the Doctors that worked so hard to help him.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster St., Wpg. on Monday July 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
A private interment will take place after the lunch in St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba.
