Obituary of Wlodzimierz BIERNACKI

WLODZIMIERZ (WALTER) BIERNACKI On September 7, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Wlodzimierz Biernacki passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife Daniela, daughter Beata Biernacka (husband Mirek Weichsel), son Krzysztof Biernacki (wife Swantje Bossemeyer), three grandchildren Natalia, Nadia and Wiktor. He also leaves 1 brother and 5 sisters plus extended family and friends in Poland and Canada. Also surviving are his 2 brothers-in-law John and Alice and Michael and Lucy Maksymowicz with their families. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Zenon. Wlodzimierz immigrated to Canada in 1989 and worked at the University of Manitoba. Throughout his life he enjoyed his children and grandchildren and with his wife, maintained a beautiful garden. Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
