Obituary of Mark BIBIK

MARK GEORGE BIBIK February 1, 1980- March 22, 2009 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark. He leaves behind, his loving parents Mary and Jerzy, sisters, Renata, Michelle (brother-in-law Jason, niece Kiera and nephew Cameron), Celina (brother-in-law Severin and niece Autumn), his Babcia Radzyminski, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In his short, but full life, Mark has made a multitude of friends. For many of them he was an inspiration. Although plagued with health problems from birth, his courage in facing adversity encouraged many to face their challenges with hope. Mark measured success of each day not by monetary or physical gains, but by how many hugs he got or was able to give. He was always polite, and said "I love you". Never met a person he did not like or one that did not like him. He especially enjoyed his Thursday outings with his Mom and Saturday night excursions with his uncle Ed. Mark had a flair for the dramatic and musical. He sang in the NORSHEL choir and was always planning to start his own choir (musical talent was not a requirement for the members - just best effort). With his passing the "Sokol" Ensemble, ABBA, Martha Stewart and Celine Dion lost their greatest fan. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of DASCH and NORSHEL and special words of gratitude to the personnel of the Baldry Bay Group Home. Holy Mass, celebrating Mark's life, will be held Friday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. with Rev. Barry Shoonbaert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
