Obituary of Anastasia Benzelock
Anastasia (Nettie) Benzelock
With deep sadness on August 29, 2010 Nettie (Anastasia) passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 87. Nettie was born in Zarobki Austria on March 17, 1923.
Remaining to forever cherish Nettie's memory are her two sons, Barry (Carol) and Donald (Linda), grandsons Robert (Andrea), Steve, and Richard, and great granddaughter namesake Taylor Anastasia, sisters Mary Lukovich, Jo Anne Malbranck, Ollie Hodges, and Ellen Kondrat (Joseph). Her great granddaughter Taylor was the highlight of her life.
Nettie was predeceased by her hubby Peter on October 8, 1998.
Nettie worked at The Bay (Georgian Room) for many years.
Nettie's greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and sisters, and her dear friend Dave Klassen.
Nettie was an inspiration and friend to many. She belonged to The Duke of Kent Legion. She loved traveling all over the U.S. and Canada. Nettie also enjoyed playing Bingo.
We will really miss your perogies.
A private family gathering was held.
