She also leaves to mourn her passing brother Bill (Flo), sister Thelma and dearest family friend Kay Finchfield (Red).

She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Stan, her sisters Joan and Evelyn, and parents Bill and Ruby Granger.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gramma Bumble Bee will be missed. Mom was a true homemaker. She loved cooking huge family meals for our get-togethers. She loved gardening and in later years tending to her orchids. Mom thoroughly enjoyed traveling with Stan, especially their cruises to Alaska, Europe, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and trips to the east coast and northeast United States.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Reimer for his attentive and dedicated care of Mom and to the staff of 4 Unit 5 at Seven Oaks for their compassionate care.

Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will have already occurred.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to Cancer Care Manitoba.
