1918 - 2008

Peacefully on April 11, 2008, Elizabeth passed away at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 90 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her son Herb (Iris) with grandson Matthew; daughter Gailene (David) with grandsons Craig and Colin; sister Annie; brothers Louis and Steve; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter of 56 years; brothers Walter, Joe, Leonard and John.

Since their marriage in 1941, Mom and Dad farmed and were active in the community of Broad Valley, MB until relocating to Winnipeg in 1990. Mom was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her greatest joy was being with her grandsons.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Maples Personal Care Home on One West and Two Yellow East for their wonderful care and compassion during her stay.

Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St. Winnipeg MB R3C 4G2 or a charity of one's choice.

Mom will be deeply missed by everyone.
