Obituary of Sofia ANDREIKIW

SOFIA ANDREIKIW May 7, 1919 - April 11, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Sofia at the age of 91. She is survived by some of her family in the Ukraine. Sofia came to Canada in 1949, settled in the north end and in 1959, made her home in the Elmwood area. She was baptized in October 1951 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Sofia loved to garden and enjoyed Jehovah's creations, but her greatest love was with her Creator, Jehovah. Sofia believed in the Bible's hope of the resurrection and now awaits the resurrection as mentioned in John 5:28,29. A thanks to the Concordia hospital for their care. A memorial will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 937 Gateway Road on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
