Obituary of LINDA CAROLE MAXOM
LINDA CAROLE MAXOM
November 9, 1949 – July 15, 2013
Lyn was predeceased by her Dad in November 2012.
She leaves to mourn her beloved mum Carole, her wonderful husband James, her crazy puppy Eddie and her late beloved Jazzie; step-children Wanda (Paul), grandchildren Chandra, Bradin, Jeff (Krissy) and grandson Mason. She also leaves brother Ken (Barb) and family, niece Kristin Maxom Wiebe (Mark) and kiddies Amina and Callum, nephew Jeremy, twin sister Susan (George) and niece Erin; brother and sisters-in-law, Judy, Patty (Dave), Donald (Bev), Kim (John) and their families and her very good neighbors and many great friends.
Lyn was a caring, giving person. She was a huge Perry Como fan and connected with other Perry Como Fan Club members all over the world. She loved everything to do with the weather, was a huge animal lover, played lots of sports, an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. Lyn was employed with the Province of Manitoba government for 37 years.
Special thanks to I.C.U. Concordia Hospital Staff and Dr. Shaun Thomas and dear friend Fr. Sam.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Lyn’s memory may be made to any Non Kill Animal Shelter, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
