MICHAEL ALAN MACIEJKO

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Michael on July1, 2013.
Michael was born and spent his entire life in Winnipeg.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Michael and Anne Maciejko, Alan and Margaret Foster and his infant brother Christopher.
Left to cherish his memory are; his partner Paulette, his daughter Stephanie and his son Cody; his loving parents Gary and Lynn; sister Bonnie (Norm), nephew and niece Tyler and Katie; sister Jo-Anne (Dustin)and niece Sierra; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike was our gentle giant, known for his quick wit and humour. He was passionate about his work and took pride in everything he did. Mike was an outgoing person who always greeted you with a smile and enjoyed a good time with alot of laughs.
Michael’s hobbies were his family, helping others and music. We have lost our techie! He will be sorely missed.
Michael spent the last few years of his life trying to overcome his personal struggles.
We invite all who knew and loved Michael to join us in a celebration of his life at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. A private interment of the ashes will take place at a later date.
AFTERGLOW
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is done,
I’d like to leave an echo, whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times, and laughing times and bright and sunny days,
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun
Of happy memories I leave behind when day is done.
