ALINE (LYNN) BALAZ (NEE NAULT) November 12, 1931 – June 18, 2013 It is with deepest sympathy and sorrow that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and Gigi on June 18, 2013. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family. Lynn leaves behind her children: Rick (Denise), Gisele (Maurice), Donna, Marlene (Dennis), Kathleen (Patrice), Fran (Harry), Tony (Raymonde) and Sheila (Jeff). Her beloved grandchildren: Kara, Craig, Jeff, Jeannette, Melissa, Tanya, Ryan, Lisa, Justin, Collin, Laurissa, Dylan, Tim, Brennen, Nicholas, Ashley. Her beloved great grandchildren: Addison, Chase, Liam, Kassey, Ty, Jacob. Lynn also leaves to mourn two brothers and four sisters: Edmee, Doris, Marius, Laura, Jeannine and Richard. Numerous extended family members in the St. Pierre area, as well as many lifelong friends. She was pre-deceased by her former husband, Ken, and sister Marie LePage. Mom loved to spend her time playing cards and Scrabble, going to bingo and knitting. She was an avid bowler. We’ll always remember mom for her famous Christmas dinners. While living in Lorette, Manitoba, mom enjoyed afternoon tea or going to bingo with her very special and lifelong friends. Mom could always be counted on to help her children. Whether it was preparing for large family gatherings or everyday activities, like watching her grandchildren or cooking and baking, Mom was always there. Without question, Mom’s passion was caring for her children and grandchildren; always mindful that everyone was okay. Mom always ended a call or signed a card with, Love You All. Mom, we all love you. Rest in Peace. A Memorial Service celebrating mom’s life will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. A private interment for immediate family members will be held at Green Acres, Holy Angel Mausoleum.
