Obituary of NATALIE ANDERS
NATALIE ANDERS
NATALIE OLGA ANDERS 1922 - 2013 Natalie Anders, also known as Mom, Grandma and Umah Anders, passed away in the morning of May 22, 2013 at the age of 90. Born to John and Helen Powroznik on August 9, 1922, Natalie, and her sisters Ann (McLaughlin) and Betty (Nault) spent their formative years in Dauphin and then moved to Winnipeg, MB where they met and married their life mates. Natalie married Stanley (Stan) Felix Anders on June 1, 1946 in a union which gave fruit to Darlene (Wallace) Hamm and Donald (Peggy) Anders; grandchildren Byron (Carrie) Hamm, Rachel (Brad) Wolbaum, Matthew (Rachelle) and Jonathan (Amy) Anders; great-grandchildren Cassidy and Alexander Hamm and Bea Wolbaum. Natalie was predeceased by Stan on March 1, 2012. Natalie will be remembered for her dedication and devotion to her faith and her family. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 15, 1939. Natalie and Stan firmly shared in the Bible hope of a resurrection into a restored paradise on earth (John 5:28, 29). She supported her hardworking and active husband throughout their lives together and accompanied him on numerous odysseys to international Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses in distant parts of the world. Her family appreciates the homecare she received from many health care workers and more recently from the many dedicated staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Home. As a family, we also express our deep appreciation for the personal visits of many brothers and sisters enjoyed by mom very much. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, www.cropo.ca. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 937 Gateway Rd., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses, c/o any local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
