JUDY OLSON (NEE GREIG) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Olson (Nee Greig) on May 17, 2013 at the age of 67. Judy leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years Gary; daughters Kelly (Corey) and family Kaylee, Micky and Tykira, Heather (Chad) and family Nicole, Braydon and Madison also her nieces, nephew, cousins and numerous friends. Judy was predeceased by her father George Greig, mother Mildred and brother George Jr. Judy lived a full life of love and happiness, she recently retired from Sobey’s after 10 years of service and made lifelong friends there and enjoyed her time at Sobey’s. Judy also volunteered her time for many years at the Prairie Dog Central where she took her fireman exam and became the second woman to fire the old steam engine train, which she was very proud of. Judy worked for the Winnipeg Jets for 8 years and loved the sport of hockey. Judy was known for her amazing hockey collection, which she took great pride in building. She enjoyed spending time with her 6 grandchildren and taking them to movies and having sleepovers, we will miss her Sunday family suppers, which she loved to prepare for the family. The family would like to thank the staff at HSC for the care they provided for our beloved mom.
