DONALD FEDERICK STUPEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Stupen on Thursday, April 25, 2013 following surgery at the St. Boniface Hospital. Don is survived by his brother Ronald (Joan) and niece Lisa of Toronto. He also leaves to mourn his loss, sister-in-law Joyce Kabez, niece and nephews and his many friends. Donald was in his 79th year and was predeceased by his loving wife Martha and his mother Angela and father Daniel. Don was employed by Weldwood Westply for over 30 years that was followed by many happy years of retirement. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf and took a great interest in his favorite sporting events of hockey, football and professional golf. Don enjoyed his visits to Toronto and took the opportunity to attend Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays games. Donald had many friends and people liked being in his presence because of his easy going personality. The family would like to thank Dr. Bracken and the staff in Intensive Care at the St. Boniface hospital for his care. In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has already taken place.
