Obituary of MARIA DA PIEDADE LÉRIAS MOLEIRO

Maria da Piedade Lérias Moleiro was born in Mação, Santarém Portugal on March 14, 1939.  Maria passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 85 years old. 

She was predeceased by her husband Manuel Pedro de Matos Lopes and son Francisco José (Graça). 

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Luis); son, Joao Manuel (Esperança) as well as her grandchildren, Daniel, Vanessa, Ana Isabel, Teresa Maria, Rita Sofia.  She also leaves her 7 precious great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends.  

The family would like to thank Seven Oaks Hospital staff for their compassion and care.  

Interment will follow in Portugal.
