Peacefully on November 29, 2023, Mark passed away at the age of 77 years. He left this world as he lived in it, conscious of God, fearless of death and at peace.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Kathy; his beloved daughters and son in laws, Jen (Mike), Andrea (Nick), Lisa (Adam); grandchildren, Ryker, Rowan, Jack, Demi, Isla, Reave, and Farah; his siblings Eddy (Marie Josie), Diane (Guy), Denis, Danny (Helene), Brenda (Denis), his sister-in-law Kathryn, brothers in law Rob (Debbie) and Grant (Christie) many nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Genevieve and Aloysious, his parents-in-law Esther and Alfred and brother-in-law Joel.

Mark was born in Quebec City on February 7, 1946, and moved to Winnipeg in 1991.  He filled his life with music composition and playing his many songs. His music can be found on Spotify, You Tube and Bandcamp under the artist’s name of Framy Mâs. He was an avid gardener with a certificate in horticulture. His work years found him in many careers, with the most recent before retirement as a translator for Princess Auto. He recently finished a manuscript titled “The Universal Siblinghood” which he considered a legacy to his life work.

We can all try to find strength by remembering all of the joy and laughter he brought to our lives. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Mark's wishes were to not have a funeral service and to have his ashes spread out in his beloved garden. We will honor this once the snow melts and the flowers bloom.
