Obituary of MICHAEL GEORGE BELL

MICHAEL GEORGE BELL
1947-2023

Michael passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 16, 2023 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 76.
 

He was predeceased by his mother Myrtle, father George, his two brothers Gerald and George, and son-in-law Darren.
 

Michael is survived by his wife Christine, children Cora (Dave), Jennifer (Shawn), Katie, Tammy, Sherry (Eric) and Amanda (Kyle), as well as 21 grandchildren. He also leaves his brother Keith (Pat), sister Georgina, and Sisters-in-law Bonnie and Marcia and numerous nieces/nephews and cousins. 

Michael worked with the City of Winnipeg for 33 years. He loved watching sports, especially the Saskatchewan Roughriders. 
 

He also loved NFL on Sundays, and NHL when it was on, his favourite team was Boston Bruins. 
 

Mike loved fishing, going to the lake, playing VLTS and going to legion, spending time with his family, driving with his wife Christine, as well as playing shuffleboard and loved his job with the City of Winnipeg. He also loved his dogs with a passion especially Ginger.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street
