On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Fernando passed away unexpectedly at his home.

Fernando is survived by his children Michael and Nathan. He also leaves to mourn his mother, Maria Da Silva; his sisters Alise and Regina, and brothers Carlos, Rui and Almario. Granddaughters Mischa and Elodie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fernando was predeceased by his infant daughter Mandy, his father Manual Da Silva, and brothers Nelson, Angelo and Jose Da Silva.

A special thanks to the paramedics of the City of Winnipeg for the loving care you have shown Fernando and our family.

A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Immaculate Conception, 181 Austin Street N. with Rev. Fr. Andre Lico presiding
