Obituary of MARION REYNOLDSON-BLAINE

MARION REYNOLDSON-BLAINE

After a brief illness with her family by her side Marion Reynoldson-Blaine passed away at the age of 85 at Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg.    Predeceased by her husband Stanley Reynoldson-Blaine, sisters Joan Belisle (nee Blaine) and Janet Blaine, parents Thomas Blaine and Clara, sons Jeff and Ken Reynoldson-Blaine.   Survived by daughter Patricia Edmonds and Debra Heckert, son Bruce Reynoldson-Blaine.    Grandchildren James, Shane, Sonya, Ash, Tjay and Brett.    Great Grandchildren Tristin and Landon.

Marion departed our earth on her eternal journey to meet our Lord.   Everyone who knew Marion would have to agree that she always had a positive attitude.   Her warmth and grace would not only light up the room but the lives she connected with.   Marion was born on July 23, 1933 to parents Tom and Clara Blaine in the city of Winnipeg.    The life journey ahead would be blessed with many memories of incredible experiences, sacrifices  and loves.    From the early days of working behind her father’s soda bar to her employment at Eaton’s and her long career with Air Canada, Marion always did her very best.   Hardworking, Dedicated and Humble.  Her marriage to Stanley in August 1955 was the biggest chapter in her life.   Being blessed with five children, Marion was extremely compassionate and loving.    Balancing her employment and raising children, she always made everyone come first over herself.     Her career at Air Canada developed many great relationships that she cherished to her final days.   Marion was also active throughout her life being the Avon Lady and days of volunteering and her involvement with the Good Neighbours Society.   Yes,  Mom was a Red Hat Lady.    Great organization that she met many new friends and traveled all for a good cause and having fun.

There are so many stories of how Marion impacted her world and those that were in it.   It is very hard to say what we want  in an obituary that spans as lifetime.   Marion was, and will remain cherished in our hearts for her sincere ability for loving life.   In honor of her memory for all those who have extended their condolences at this time we ask one request to do a gesture on her behalf to paying it forward like Marion would.   Volunteer at that charity, donate that tin for the bin, open that car door and give a hug to the ones you love.   On Wednesday, October 10 at 2:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, we will celebrate a life well lived.   Please join us for this special day.
