CZESIA MAY

December 10, 1925- November 27, 2017

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Czesia May on November 27, 2017 at the age of 91.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Theresa and grandchildren, Trisha and Derek; her niece Alicja and family, Andrezj, Kamil, Konrad, Kristopher and family in Poland. She was predeceased by her son Richard and her husband Stanley.

Czesia was born in Poland, immigrated to Canada after the Second World War and married the love of her life Stanley in 1949. They were married for 66 years and together they had two children Richard and Theresa. Czesia retired from the Health Science Centre in 1989, she enjoyed nature, cooking, knitting and gardening but most important to her was her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lovely woman that brought joy and fulfillment to many and whose legacy will live on and be cherished in our memories forever.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 1, 2017 at 10:00am at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street, followed by a reception at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street.
