Married to Evelyn for 62 years, theirs was a true love story. They were committed, loyal and lived a great life together right to the end. They were fortunate to travel to many destinations, loved their many winters in Hawaii, and made many happy memories at the trailer in Winnipeg Beach and Gimli.
As a long time active member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Peter drove the senior’s church bus, and hosted many fishing derbies while involved in the Men’s club. He was a member of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation and enjoyed spending time selling tickets and fundraising. Peter also enjoyed deer hunting and had many stories of his deer hunting adventures.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the amazing staff at the ICU Unit at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion towards our family. Also to Father V. Bashutskyy and Father T. Kowch for their prayers and blessings.
