Obituary of CHARLES LESLIE SMITH

CHARLES LESLIE SMITH Surrounded by love and with his family by his side, Charlie passed away peacefully on December 23, 2014. Charlie leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Gisela; son Thomas (Bree); daughter Margaret (Joel and son Alex) and his beloved grandson Chase. He will be missed by grand “doggers” Lily, Molly and Sammy. Charlie will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, coworkers and friends. He will be dearly missed by his aunt and uncle, Betty and Bob Spence and family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to a local animal shelter or to CancerCare Manitoba.
