Obituary of CAROLINE YAWORSKI

Caroline Yaworski (nee Karpick) Caroline passed away peacefully on June 30, 2014 at Health Science Centre, at the age of 72 years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband John of fifty years, Veronica (Lance), Andrew, Roger (Cordelia), her grandchildren Linden, Logan and Jillian. As well as her many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents Veronica and Andrew, and brother Fred. She was born on March 30, 1942 in Hadishville, MB. She married John on July 20, 1963 and lived in Winnipeg, MB, Yorkton, SK, The Pas, MB then returned to Winnipeg to retire. For Caroline her greatest joy was her immediate family, extended family and many friends. Whether it was a cup of coffee with family and friends, or hosting a big barbeque for all her loved ones. Laughter and love abounded. She was proud of her Ukrainian heritage including the music, making perogies and cabbage rolls, and collecting its distinctive dinnerware. Wherever she traveled she collected collector spoons and she also collected brass miniatures. She loved to read, dance, listening to the bagpipes, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. A memorial service will take place on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Memorial contributions are welcome at the CancerCare Manitoba.
