Obituary of AGNES URBAN

AGNES URBAN (NEE MALISZ) Peacefully on June 25, 2014, Agnes Urban passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 87. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Judi (Vladimir) Bastl, son Ted (Shannon) Urban, grandchildren David (Irene) Bastl, Michael Bastl, Melissa Urban, Stacey Urban, great-granddaughter Marissa, sister Adela (Czeslaw) Borowski and numerous nieces and nephews in Poland. Agnes was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Walter Urban. Prior to her retirement she worked for Dominion Food Store. Agnes loved spending time with family and friends. She attended Calvary Temple and enjoyed Bible Studies. She was never one to turn down a card game with her friends. Although she loved many things gardening was her passion. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba.
