In addition, she leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, family friends, and any person who called her Granny. Yvette was born in Cayer, Manitoba on November 17th, 1921, she was raised working on the farm, and taking care of her younger siblings. She married her husband in 1946, and welcomed their three children into the world. She made a home for them in Abbotshall, where she had a part in raising many children and supporting the community. She moved to Winnipeg in 1981, to be closer to her children and grandchildren. At Yvette’s request cremation has taken place. Special thanks go to the doctors, and nurses at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassion and care during this difficult time. The song has ended, but the melody lingers on.
