Obituary of JOSEPH (JOZEF) FORMELA

JOSEPH (JOZEF) FORMELA Peacefully on March 27, 2014, Joseph, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 93 years. Joseph is survived by his son Leon (Danuta); daughter Lydia (Blair); grandchildren Martin, Andrew, Jennifer and Julien. He was predeceased by his wife Linda; brother and sisters in Poland. Joseph was a founding member of Legion #246, life member of the Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society, member of Holy Ghost Church, member of St. Cecilia Choir and a member of Rosary Sodality. The family would like to thank the Home Care staff, Seven Oaks Hospital staff, especially to Dr. Peter Bialy, for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Sunday, March 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street. “Wieczny odpoczynek racz mu dac Panie.”
