Obituary of PETER ANDERSON

PETER ANDERSON Peter was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He is predeceased by his father James Linsday Anderson, paternal grandparents Myrtle and Oliver Anderson, maternal grandparents Antoinette and Peter Pagnutti. Uncles Morley (Thelma) and Orville Anderson (Nan), nephew John Michael Sinclair and his late wife Elizebeth Anderson. Peter's younger years were spent in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he was taught to hunt and fish by his Nono (grandfather Pete Pagnutti) He loved stock car racing and working in the pit crews. He restored and rebuilt muscle cars and loved street drag racing. Peter and his son Phillip worked on an old Chevy C-10 pickup. His knowledge of engines and machinery was remarkable and he could put any engine back together. In his later years he ended up working in Churchill where he met the love of his life and the woman he would marry, Elizebeth. Peter was head mechanic for Great White Bear Tours and worked on the rovers. He would then move on to work for the Town of Churchill as head mechanic. Peter had a soft spot for his dogs missy and coco. He was also very fond of his grandchildren, who loved going to visit their Papa Pete. He always had a hug, a bowl of candy and a pocket full of coins for them. He was much like a child at heart himself and always had a mischievous grin on his face. Peter is survived by his son Phillip Park (Ashley), grandchildren Franklin Edward, Brooklyn Anna, Braxtyn Linzy and Jackson Gene Park. Sisters-in-law Eleanor (Gordon), Judy (Jacob), Patricia (Dmytri), Marie (Michael), Brothers-in-law George and Walter his Godchildren Dmytri Kadiurin II, nieces Heather, Nikki, Danielle, Eliza, Sharice, and Waneek. Nephews Devon Anderson, Anthony, Dennis, Lewis, George, Michael jr. Allan Michael, Horace, and John-George. His sisters Lisa (Dave) Steenerson, Kim Anderson (Bob Schaff), and his mother Anna Maria Anderson. And many other friends and family too numerous to list.
